New Mastodon Album. Crack the Skye. Werd
Yo check it out. If you really like Mastodon then you will love this new albumn. This one is based on the concept of “ether” or space, as opposed to Leviathan that was water or Blood Mountain that was based on earth. Its not as metal as previous efforts but is represents a definite progression in rock music. What, rock progression? Yep, just when you thought there was nowhere else to go, Mastodon takes you there. I loved it. Picked it up for my ride back to school yesterday and listened twice. Lookin for reasons to drive so I can listen again. These dudes are really the next level, not so popular but they are going to blow up soon, and there old albums will start to see some sales boosts.
