Long time coming. Musicians. God I fucking hate musicians. Not all of them, just the ones who are in it for the complete wrong reasons. It is no longer all that profitable to be a musician. File sharing, the ability to download only partial albums, and piracy have taken a huge dent out of the potential profits musicians can make, and rightfully so. Terrible, terrible music made millions and billions of dollars for years. Record companies and their narcissistic artist enjoyed an era of unprecedented profits and ultra mega super duper consumerism in the 1990′s and early 2000′s. That is long gone and I am so glad the fucks that ruined so many good artists, squandered careers, wasted good music, and fucked us over with overpriced cassettes, cd’s and mp3 have finally had their day. Francis Manasis from Rinky Dink Records, Don Johnson, and all the other sweaty fucks.
If you dont make music for it to be listened to, then you deserve your misery. I am all for a guy, group or gal making a decent living. I want good artists to live comfortably and provide for theirs. Still, when I hear these mega million and billion-aire fake fucking tits and/or full of themselves middle aged pop/rockstars complaining about a dude in North Dakota who makes 30k annually and supports his sick mom and sisters 2 kids downloading an album or song, I want to KILL-a-mutha.
You greedy narcissistic fucks lost. I am glad we brought your uber overpriced industry to its knees. Heres to the death of the corpo-music-killers and the rebirth of the independent label. Its been a long time coming.
